Join us as we will take a trip through the constellations, learning their names and some of the myths that go along with them. We will also have a telescope available to bring the planets, stars, and other astronomical objects closer.

The night's activities will take place along the battlefield trail. Park in the main lot and meet the ranger outside of the Visitor Center. We will walk to the viewing site together. For those needing assistance a shuttle will be available.

Feel free to bring a lawn chair, towel, or blanket to sit on as we gaze up at the sky. Personal telescopes are welcome, but the park is not responsible for any damage.

Visitors should wear comfortable close-toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing. A water bottle is recommended. Flashlights are encouraged but please remember do not point them at any faces. Flashlights with a red mode or a red filter are preferred.

Program is subject to cancellation due to weather.
