Description
We hope you will join us for this fantastic evening at Abo! We will start with a Ranger-led rock art tour that leaves the Abo Visitor Center at 6:30pm. The rock art tour will last ~1 hour; sturdy shoes and water are advisable, as the tour involves hiking over rough, uneven terrain. After the rock art tour, we will have a Ranger-led ruins tour.
After the tours, we will talk about the deep sky objects and planets that we will be viewing through telescopes at the event. As the skies darken, we will have telescopes available for viewing the wonders of the night sky.
This is a free, family-friendly event.
The Friends of Salinas Pueblo Missions and the Albuquerque Astronomical Society will be assisting us with this event.
