Boat Rides at Great Falls

Experience the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal on the water during one of our public boat rides! Travel along the canal on a replica 20th century launch boat and learn about the canal's history. See the natural and cultural resources that shaped the canal and explore the area's rich history from pre-Revolution to present day. 

Boat rides take place at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are released at the following times:

• 9:30 a.m. (1 hour before the 10:30 ride)
• 12:30 p.m. (1 hour before the 1:30 ride)

*Animals are not allowed with the exception of service animals. Inclement weather, including high winds, rain, and extreme heat may cause tours to be cancelled.
