Description
Join the Constitutional Convention! This ranger led program will guide visitors through debating and voting on 13 crucial topics that the founders debated in 1787. This interactive event will help put you in the shoes of the individuals who had to craft the Constitution during the unstable years immediately after the War of Independence ended.
As you vote on how to shape your Constitution, tokens will be added to a scale. You must keep it balanced between Federalist and Anti-Federalist in order to create a document that will stand a chance of surviving a ratification fight in the states.
This event will occur at the brick stage directly across from teh Nathanael Greene Monument at Tour Stop 8.
