Mountain music, played primarily with string instruments, has long been a form of entertainment in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Today, it remains a valued cultural resource preserved by the Blue Ridge Parkway. Join Park Staff at the Blue Ridge Music Center, and discover how strings create the different musical notes needed to play a melody.
