The Platte River Campground Amphitheater is located near the Campground office. If not camping at the campground, park at the office, take the stairs or ramp located to the left. If entering from the campground, walk in from loop 1 on the paved path between sites 104 and 105.

Description

Unearth the legacy of fruit in Sleeping Bear Dunes! Discover how living in a "fruit belt" has impacted the people this have lived in and around the park throughout history. 

Ranger-led Twilight Talks are scheduled for every night this summer except on Monday's and Tuesday's at the D.H. Day and Platte River Campground Amphitheaters.

Topics for the week are posted in both of the campgrounds, all members of the public are welcome with a valid entrance pass.
