Explore the legacy of First Lady Jackie Kennedy with an architecture scavenger hunt & a restoration science project!
See downtown Canton, Ohio through the eyes of First Lady Jackie Kennedy. Read a story about Jackie Kennedy's love of historic preservation then go on a short walk and scavenger hunt to find unique architecture elements around First Ladies National Historic Site. Participants will earn a special limited edition Jackie Kennedy Junior Ranger patch!
Just like Jackie, take action with restoration! Learn the science of restoration with National First Ladies' Library and restore an old penny to it's shiny orinigal state.
Jackie Kennedy patches are in short supply and are first come, first serve. This is a free, family event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring comfortable footwear and your sense of adventure. The event is 100% outdoors and will happen rain or shine. In the case of lightning or thunder, the event is cancelled.
