Description

Carla Lynne Hall and Jim Keyes present a theatrical re-enactment of the story of Ona Judge,  who had been enslaved to Martha Washington, wife of President George Washington, but ran away to freedom in New Hampshire in 1796. Despite efforts by the Washingtons to return Ona to enslavement, she remained free for the remainder of her life. This will be a live presenation, at the site, but also available as a distance program, through shared platform.
