Fish for free on Texas Free Fishing Day!

Kids and families can learn all about fishing in the Big Thicket, including different kinds of knots, fishing limits, and even try fishing from the bank with a ranger. Kids who complete all the activities can earn a Junior Angler badge!

Location:
Fishing ponds near LNVA Saltwater Barrier on Bigner Road in Beaumont, Texas. From US Highway 69/287 in Beaumont, exit on Lucas Drive and go east, then turn left (north) on Bigner Road. Continue on Bigner until you reach the fishing ponds. The event will be marked with signs.
