In celebration of Women's History Month, join us for this pre-recorded book talk featuring ranger John Fowler and author Dr. Janet Sims-Wood, as they look at the life and work of Dr. Dorothy Porter Wesley, who was instrumental in creating the Moorland-Spingarn Archives and Library at Howard University. Dr. Wesley also knew both Mary McLeod Bethune and Dr. Carter G. Woodson and she helped Mrs. Bethune and NCNW create the Archives for Negro Women's History and Dr. Woodson with his organization, ASALH.
