The American incarnation of Mother’s Day was created by Anna Jarvis in 1908.
On May 14, 1904, the U.S. Congress passed a law designating the second Sunday in May as Mother’s Day.
While much has been written about men who helped create the country, this virtual exhibit will highlight the stories of the many fascinating women who played an important part as well.
The Exhibit is FREE.
