Ranger Program- Pueblo Loop Trail

Bandelier National Monument

Join a Ranger for a guided walk along the first quarter mile of the Main Pueblo Loop Trail and immerse yourself in Bandelier's complex history. Rangers will cover a range of topics including: geology, nature, Pueblo history, archaeology, and more! 

Starting on the Visitor Center back porch at 1:30pm, rangers will stop at various points along the trail and end in Tyuonyi Pueblo. From this point, visitors may continue along the Main Pueblo Loop Trail, or turn around and head back to the Visitor Center.

Bring plenty of water, sun protection, sturdy walking shoes, rain gear, any necessary medications (i.e. blood pressure, pain reliever, etc) and your eagerness to learn!

Fees

While this program is free of charge, Bandelier National Monument has an entrance fee of $25 per car for a 7-day pass. America The Beautiful National Parks Passes will cover your entrance fee and are also available to purchase in the Bandelier Visitor Center.
