Description

Discover life lessons through the experiences of those living in dorms, hutments and trailers during the construction of the Hanford Engineer Works nuclear reactors. What are “safe” topics of
conversation? Mealtime manners when you are eating cafeteria style? We will explore these
questions and more through the stories preserved in oral histories collected from both WWII and the Cold War eras.

This course is offered through Kennewick Community Education. The course instructor is Terry Andre.
