Description
NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Step into the Cold War for a tour of the historic Nike Missile Site A/2/52 where U.S. Army soldiers defended the United States from the threat of attack. Meet at the Daniel Beard Center by 2:00PM. Handicap accessible, 0.7 mile walk, 1.5 hours.
Please note that there is very limited shade, no restrooms, or water available at the Nike Missile Site. Visitors are encouraged to use the bathroom and refill water bottles prior to the program at the Ernest Coe Visitor Center. Bring water and sun protection.
