Description
With Frederick Law Olmsted living in Brookline, many of the towns and cities in the area were bound to benefit from such a forward thinker in the area, Newton being one of those cities. Join us for a walk around Newton Centre Playground, initially conceived by Frederick Law Olmsted, but carried out but his successive firm, Olmsted Brothers. We will discuss the Olmsted design intentions at play in the Playground, as well as other Olmsted designs in Newton.
