Forest Hike: Guided, Low-Elevation Hike (Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center - Milepost 384)
Join a ranger for an easy, one-and-a-half hour, one-and-a-half-mile guided walk through the forest. Experience the forest and learn how the forest experiences you, too.
Expect some roots, rocks, and mud if there has been rain recently. You must wear closed-toed shoes appropriate for a trail walk. Please bring water and rain gear in case of a turn in the weather. If there is light rain, the hike will continue if everyone is sufficiently prepared. In the event of thunder or other dangerous conditions, the hike will be canceled.
