Grand Canyon National Park

Special Event
  • Nov 4, 2026 at 2:30 PM
  • Free

Join us for a special conversation featuring two Tribal members exploring the cultural connections between Indigenous peoples and the Colorado River.

Hear directly from Nate Brown (Diné) about his recent journey along the Colorado River and the experiences and cultural connections that continue to shape our relationships with this live-giving river. Meranden Numkena (Hopi/Diné) will facilitate the live interview.

Discover why reconnecting with the Colorado River matters and how Indigenous knowledge, relationships, and responsibilities to the river continue today.
