Half The Park Is After Dark!

Dark skies and abundant stars over Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and the City of Page offer premier stargazing. Take a break from the bustle and bright lights of daily life. Join local astronomy enthusiasts for an almost New Moon night of telescope viewing.

6:30-8 pm Navajo Star Stories with Eli Secody. Free hot chocolate while supplies last.
8 pm - 9 pm Telescope viewing and star gazing with local side-walk astronomers.

This activity is weather dependent and may be canceled in the event of high wind or an unclear sky.

Make sure you dress in warm layers - it's winter and when the sun goes down, so does the temperature!

Please do not point your headlights at the telescopes or bring pets around the telescope tripods.

Meet the Rangers and Volunteers at the parking lot at Horseshoe Bend.

Fees

There is no fee to attend this program. Fees for the Horseshoe Bend Parking Lot are waived for this event.
