Kingsley Plantation Open House

The property owners home on Fort George Island was built in 1798.  From it's early history as the home of an enslaver, to the later years as "The Homestead" the building has faced many changes.  Open house self-guided tours are avaliable to limit the foot traffic through the historic home, while allowing access to the public.  Staff willgather groups and give a short program every half hour during the alloted timeframes, followed by a self-guided walk through the building.  

Open house hours may be canceled due to staffing limitations.

Rangers will gather groups on the porch and present a short program every half hour during these times with a self-guided open house tour after. 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM.
