Theodore Roosevelt Island entrance at the footbridge. Access from the north bound lanes of the George Washington Memorial Parkway after Memorial Circle and the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. From Rosslyn Metro it is an approximate 15 minute walk to the Island Entrance.

Description
Join a National Park Ranger or Volunteer for a tour of Theodore Roosevelt Island. Explore the vivid history of the Island, including the memorial to President Theodore Roosevelt, often referred to as America's conservation president; and experience the nature of the island, unique among the Washington Metropolitan area. The hour and a half walk is approximately 1 1/4 miles. Wear sturdy shoes and come with your curiosity.
Reservations are not required, but please call ahead if you plan to bring a group of more than ten people.
