Description

Join a park ranger for an easy, one-way guided walk on the Marymere Falls Trail through old-growth forest along Barnes Creek. Discover new stories and perspectives on the plants, animals, and natural and cultural history of the Lake Crescent area—truly a recreational and scenic gem within Olympic National Park!

Meet at Storm King Ranger Station on Lake Crescent.

Duration: ~30-45 minutes, one way*
Distance:
~3/4 mile, one way*

*Note: This guided portion of this walk concludes below/before Marymere Falls. Participants may then choose to: 1) Return to Storm King Ranger Station via an additional ~3/4 mile walk (~1.5 total miles, round trip); or, 2) Continue, unguided, an additional ~1/4 mile (~150 ft elevation gain) to view Marymere Falls. Return walk from Marymere Falls to Storm King Ranger Station is ~1 mile (~2 total miles, round trip).
