Point Reyes National Seashore

  • Free

Enjoy the opportunity to discover the hidden world of wildflower form, structure, and color at Chimney Rock. Using a hand lens (provided), observe flower details that will give you an enhanced appreciation of flower diversity. Engage in conversation about the concepts of biological diversity and native vs. non-native plants.

Walk lasts three hours on the Chimney Rock Trail, approximately a 2-mile roundtrip walk. Ability to kneel on the ground provides the best experience but is not a requirement. Bring water, snacks and layers for the possibility of wind, rain or chilly weather.

Walks are FREE, but limited to 20 participants, so register today!
