Description

The Calumet Keweenaw Sportsmen's Club, in partnership with the Keweenaw National Historical Park and National Park Foundation are offering a series of one-day fishing camps for children 16 years of age or younger.

Camps will run from 9:00am-4:00pm and will include indoor/outdoor instruction, lunch, and a guided historical tour. Indoor instruction will take place at the Keweenaw National Historical Park's Visitor Center. A guided history tour led by a National Park Service ranger will take the children through historical Calumet and down to the Swedetown Ponds for the outdoor portions of the camp.

Camps are limited to 25 students/participants. Students are limited to only one camp.

Camps are free and include lunch for the students and family members who are observing.

Students must be registered prior to the scheduled day of the camp.
