Newton B. Drury "Hike and Bike Day"

From October-April, for 24 hours on the first Saturday of each month, 10-miles of the Newton B. Drury Scenic parkway is closed to motorised vehicles.

This temporary closue is to allow anybody to walk, hike, skate, stroll, or take their leashed pet safely along one of the most beautiful forested roads in the world.

 The Praire Creek Visitor Center remains open and all trails will be open. Parking for the event can be found next to the Prairie Creek Visitor Center.  The road closure will likely begin after 5pm on the Friday , until 9am on the Sunday.
