Join us as we celebrate part of our American Heritage through the exposition of classic automobiles. Many of the vehicles that will be on display may have rolled through the hills and valleys surrounding Ozark National Scenic Riverways when they and Big Spring State Park were brand new. Have you ever heard of “auto camping”? During the 1920’s it was a craze that was sweeping the country as families flocked to our nations most treasured locations. You will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the area and the importance of these vehicles to development of parks throughout the country. Vintage cars tell a story of a simpler time of family, rejuvenation, and independence. When you come to spend the day with us, you can bask in the beauty of Big Spring and walk among classic vehicles all the while listening to traditional Ozark bluegrass music.
