Christmas on the Cumberland (1860s)

Come visit the Dover Hotel, the 1862 surrender site, and see how Americans in the 1860s may have decorated their homes and about the Christmas traditions of days gone by.  Learn how these traditions likely changed during the Civil War. Make your very own ornament to decorate the tree.  Materials provided.  Reservations recommended.  Please contact the Ranger staff at 931-232-5706 x 101.
