Description

"Consider the Cedar presents an hour of music inspired by and related to the many faces of Congaree National Park. Join UofSC School of Music resident flute quartet Duende and the CNP Forest Wellness Program for an interactive experience that engages participants with the serene beauty of South Carolina's only national park. The program will explore how to mimic birds native to the Southeast, discover the musical rhythm in your life, and spend some quiet time reflecting on the stillness of the surrounding forest.

All you need to participate is yourself, comfortable, weather appropriate shoes and clothing, and an optional journal or notepad. The event will begin directly outside the Visitor Center.

Please note: in the event of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled for April 11, 2021, at 2:00pm EST."

ThisĀ event is part of the park's Forest Wellness program series.
