Bat Day
Bat Day is our annual celebration of all things bats. These remarkable mammals thrive within Mammoth Cave’s landscapes and contribute significantly to the health of our agriculture, forests, and ecosystems. Join scientists, educators, and park rangers for a full day of presentations, hands‑on learning, and evening field demonstrations to learn more about these amazing creatures.
All Bat Day activities are free with no reservations required. Events begin at 10 a.m. and will take place at both the park's outdoor amphitheater and visitor center. Visit our Bat Day page for a full list of family-friendly activities and meeting locations.
