From the South Entrance Station, continue following the road you are on for 5 miles, and it will lead you to the Visitor Center. Just before the parking areas, the road curves to the left. You can park your vehicle in one of four parking areas and find your way to the Visitor Center, in the center of the open plaza where restroom buildings, the park store, and the bicycle rental are also located.   • Thursday April 10, 2025 - Outdoors on the Visitor Center Plaza, Please join us for a special performance by Joseph Secody and the Native Cultural Legacy Group.

  • The Cultural Legacy Group delivers high-energy performances blending modern and traditional Native American dance. Based in Page, AZ, they honor their heritage through vibrant regalia and aim to challenge stereotypes, promoting cultural awareness while embracing both tradition and modernity. Don’t miss this chance to learn, share, and celebrate! 
  • Joseph Secody's talent has taken him around the country to perform and compete as well as being invited to perform in the 2020 Dubai World Expo as one of the top hoop dancers in the world! "Hoop Dancing to me means that I am able to dance for those who can’t." - Joseph Secody

Time: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

Location: South Rim - Grand Canyon Visitor Center Plaza, next to the Visitor Center Theater.

The program is free of charge. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
