Description
Leave No Trace Outdoor Ethics are a scientifically-supported set of guidelines that help us minimize the cumulative impacts of outdoor recreation in shared spaces like Buffalo National River and the Ozarks. This free, 16-hour Trainer Course will dive into fun and interactive techniques for teaching the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace, including how to plan and facilitate a Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop.
This course is great for teachers, 4-H leaders, Boy Scout/Girl Scout leaders, outdoor guides, and general outdoor enthusiasts. All participants will receive free teaching resources to use in their own Leave No Trace programs and awareness workshops! Email BUFF_events@nps.gov for more information or to sign up.
This training is sponsored by the National Park Service, Native Expeditions, and Leave No Trace – Arkansas
Chapter.
