Guided Hike to the Salt Basin Dunes

Join a ranger on a walk to the Salt Basin Dunes. Most of the 2.5 mile (round-trip) hike is easy. There is one brief scramble up a 60' tall dune. Meet at the Salt Basin Dunes Trailhead and be sure to bring water, food, sunscreen and sunglasses. AWD is not necessary for the Williams Road, but some clearance is recommended. 

Fees

An entrance fee of $10 per person (16 years of age and older) is required; entrance fees/passes permit 1-7 consecutive days of use in this national park. Holders of the Annual, Senior, Military, 4th grade and Access Pass can bring in 3 adults free of charge under their pass. Any pass must be displayed in a vehicle while in the national park.
