New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park continues the "Courtyard Concert Series" with Will Smith and the Palm Court Jazz Band. Will Smith, who basically grew up in Preservation Hall, where his sister Dodie Smith-Simmons worked and his brother-in-law trumpeter John “Kid” Simmons sometimes played. Smith used to help push Sweet Emma Barrett's wheelchair to the car when her son came to pick her up, and most of the time she said something mean. We are positive that Will will not say anything mean, only blow sweet notes from his Trumpet during the hour long performance. Please, do not miss this free and open to the public concert in our National Park's picturesque courtyard.
