From the South Entrance Station, continue following the road you are on for 5 miles, and it will lead you to the Visitor Center. Just before the parking areas, the road curves to the left. You can park your vehicle in one of four parking areas and find your way to the Visitor Center, in the center of the open plaza, where restroom buildings, the park store, and the bicycle rental are also located.

Description
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 27, 28 and 29, 2023, from 10 am to 4 pm in the Visitor Center, Jonah Hill, Hopi Silversmith will demonstrate how he creates jewelry and will share his knowledge of Hopi culture and art.
About Jonah Hill
In addition to being a silversmith, Jonah Hill has been a river guide, and is an environmental educator. Jonah has worked with various types of media and has exhibited his work in numerous shows and galleries.
This week, Jonah will be demonstrating how he creates jewelry out of sterling silver, copper, brass and tufa stone (a volcanic rock).
Meet and watch Jonah at work at the Grand Canyon South Rim Visitor Center, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 27 through 29, from 10am to 4pm.
- The Cultural Demonstration program provides an opportunity for park visitors and community members to interact with tribal artisans from Grand Canyon's traditionally associated tribes - and for them to share their history and crafts, along with the skills, knowledge, and efforts involved in creating their handicrafts.
