Join us on Monday, January 18, 2021 for our annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service tree-planting event! Volunteers can plant longleaf pine seedlings to help restore native longleaf pine habitat in the Big Thicket. All materials and tools for tree-planting will be supplied.

COVID-19 precautions will be in effect, and groups will be spread out over the planting area. There will be 3 time slots to choose from, with 10 people maximum per time slot: either 9:00-10:00 am, 10:00-11:00 am, or 11:00 am-12:00 pm.

To sign up, please call the visitor center at (409) 951-6700 (7 days/week, 9 am to 5 pm). You'll receive directions to the planting site when you register.
