Description
On Thursday, August 15 and Thursday, August 22, the 2 p.m. canal boat tour, "Working the Water," will be offered in Khmer. This tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
During this tour, Ranger Charly will share some of the human stories of the workers who built and operated Lowell's remarkable waterpower system. Visitors will have the chance to also discover who is still "working the water" today while taking a scenic boat ride. All boat tours start at the Visitor Center (246 Market Street).
Boat tours are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (62+), $8 for students and youths (age 6-16), and free for children 5 and under. Cash, check, or charge may be used for payment. Visitors should arrive at the Visitor Center at 246 Market Street, Lowell, at least 30 minutes before tour start time to purchase their tickets.
