Oxon Cove Trail Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The National Park Service invites you to the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the Oxon Cove Trail on April 26 at 11:30 a.m.
This momentous occasion will feature remarks from local government leaders and representatives from the National Park Service. Forest Heights Elementary School choir will also be present to serenade us as we celebrate the completion of this significant achievement in our community.

The entrance to the ribbon cutting ceremony is located at: Bell Acres Park 197 S Huron Dr Oxon Hill, MD 20745 Once you enter the park, turn left on the Oxon Cove Trail and follow the signs. Street parking is available near Bell Acres Park. The event will be held rain or shine.

The ceremony will be held on April 26 at 11:30 a.m. The volunteer clean-up will be from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. There will be two shifts of volunteers with the first shift taking place from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and the second shift taking place from 12 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
