Directions to Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center Main entrance is located at the cross street of Via Goleta and Lynn Road, Newbury Park, CA, 91320 From the 101 Freeway, exit at Wendy Drive and head south. Turn right on Lynn Road. Turn left on Via Goleta. Continue all the way to a parking lot where the road ends. Walk 0.3 miles to the Culture Center.

Description

Enjoy the sunset at Rancho Sierra Vista while Chumash Elders Ted and Dennis Garcia share their cultural background and history. They will be performing authentic Chumash songs and stories.   

This program is for all ages and no reservations required. Please wear layers for changing weather conditions and bring a flashlight. Highly recommend bringing camping chairs or blankets for seating. A limited amount of picnic tables and chairs will be available. Please see below for directions to the culture center, as some phone applications have been taking visitors to other areas or wrong locations.
