Autumn Candlelight Tour - Reservations Required
On Saturday, October 14, visitors will be invited to explore history by candlelight. Tours of the one-mile interpretive trail will begin at 6:30 p.m. Along the path, Living Historians will present scenes from historic Ninety Six. Tours will depart every 15 minutes with the last tour at 9:00 p.m. Each one hour and fifteen-minute tour will be accompanied by a guide who will lead the way back in time with a period-style lantern.
The park visitor center will remain open during the tours until 9:00 p.m. for those who would like to watch the park’s 22-minute film, “Ninety Six: Crossroads of a Revolution,” browse the bookstore, and discover artifacts in the museum.
Tour reservations are required. To reserve your FREE tickets, call the park at (864) 543-4068 ext. 3 Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Visitors should wear comfortable outdoor clothing and walking shoes. The trail may be uneven in some areas and caution is recommended. Visitors are also encouraged to bring a flashlight and to carpool as parking will be limited.
In case of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled.
