Description

**PAIR YOUR VISIT WITH THE WYOMING PEACH FESTIVAL!**

First State Heritage Park is celebrating science and innovation this month by bringing you the story of an industry that was the cornerstone of 19th century Dover: canning. Firms like Richardson & Robbins were the backbone of Delaware's economy as early as the American Civil War and played a key role in a dietary revolution that subsequently swept the nation and then the world. Learn more at the John Bell House (43 The Green) from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today!

Other local sites await you today too: the Biggs Museum of American Art (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.), the Governor's Residence at Woodburn (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.), Legislative Hall (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) as well as the Old State House (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.) and Johnson Victrola Museum (9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) are all FREE for the day!
