Celebrating Juneteenth in Partnership with Tolson's Chapel

To celebtrate Juneteenth, join a park ranger at Antietam to learn about the connection between the battle and the abolition of slavery at 10:00 am. This program will meet just outside the park's temporary Visitor Center. Following this presentation, attendees are invited to a program at historic Tolson's Chapel and School to learn about the history of Juneteenth as well as the establishment of the chapel and it's use as a Freedman's Bureau School during Reconstruction. The Chapel will be open for visits from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Program is free; park entrance is $20/vehicle.
