This is How We Get Ants - Ecological Effects of Ant Invasions

Ants invade our homes but they also impact our local ecosystems. Our research addresses how ant invasions affect ecosystems in California and what can be done to limit the spread of these invaders. Much of this work will focus on the Argentine ant, which is the most widespread invader in California, but species that have appeared more recently in our region will also be discussed.
