Cranberry Day: A Wampanoag Harvest Celebration

Join Aquinnah Wampanoag tribal member Jannette Vanderhoop for a celebration of the cranberry. Jannette will read her children’s book, Cranberry Day, and share the cultural significance of this holiday and some native uses for cranberries.
 
Then, head out in the dunes with a ranger off of the Province Lands bike trail to see some wild cranberries for yourself!
 
Reservations are not required for this program. This is a family friendly program. This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore. The Province Lands Visitor Center is located at 171 Race Point Road, Provincetown, MA.
