The hours of the Fishing Camp are 9:30 to 1:30 with a half hour break starting at 11:30.
Description
De Soto Rancho Fishing Clinics carry on a 3,000 year old tradition of intercoastal fishing in the waters of Tampa Bay. De Soto fishing ranch instructs participants about the equipment, methods, and regulations that govern Florida saltwater fishing. After lunch park guides take participants fishing along the park's shores where they can apply all of their new skills.
On reservation provides one participant a space in the classroom portion of the fishing clinic as well as the use of park-owned rod, reel, and bait during the practical portion of the clinic. Must have an accompanying guardian/adult if under the age of 16. Adults and Guardians are not requiered to make a reservation.
