Description

In conjunction with Harvard Square's Let Hope Ring celebration, join us for an all-ages kickoff outdoors at 105 Brattle Street!

In partnership with the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy, enjoy 19th century holiday decorations and winter traditions, caroling, and family friendly activities like crafts and games! Warm up with some hot chocolate and cookies, then head into Harvard Square for a 3:00 PM tree lighting and Holiday Poetry Stroll. Please plan to socially distance.

Event will include:

  • Welcome tent with Poetry Stroll and site information
  • Craft tent with make-and-take activities, including Poetry Bookmarks and other wintery fun
  • Refreshment tent with hot chocolate, cider, and cookies
  • History of Holiday Traditions tent
  • Victorian carolers
  • At 12:00 and 1:00, kids can help Ranger Beth tell the story of Henry Longfellow's "Christmas Bells" with an interactive play!

Free and open to all - drop in any time between 11:00 and 2:30, and bundle up! All activities are outdoors.
