Music played an important role in the daily lives of soldiers garrisoned at Fort McHenry. A soldiers entire day would revolve around the sounds of fifes and drums. Join living historians in the famous "Fort McHenry Guard Fife and Drum Corps" as they play period music and share the history of music's role at Fort McHenry.

*These performances last 10–15 minutes, are weather-dependent, and take place within Historic Star Fort.

Fees

For programs inside the historic Star Fort, general adult admission (age 16 and up) must be paid at the visitor center or online at recreation.gov. Interagency passes (annual, senior, military, veteran, 4th grade and access passes) may also be used.
