Master Gardeners

Special Event
  • Every 2 weeks at 10:00 AM from June 06, 2024 to October 17, 2024

Gardening season can be a time of triumph for some, and turmoil for others. Sometimes, all a budding gardener needs to get started is a mentor with a green thumb. If instead of growing plants, you find yourself growing a list of questions, we have just the thing for you. Grab a notebook 📓, a pencil ✏️and head over to the Colonial Revival Garden at George Washington Birthplace to ask a Master Gardener!

Whether you want to learn more about garden plants used during the colonial era, or need advice for your own garden at home, the Northern Neck Master Gardeners will be here every other Thursday at 10 a.m. to answer your questions

*Times will change to 9 a.m. once the weather starts getting warmer.
