Description
Women’s Rights National Historical is pleased to present the photography of James Suits. Located in the 2nd floor temporary exhibit room of the visitor center, it will be on display through Memorial Day, May 27th.
“History can sometimes feel very abstract…. While the people involved in these historical events have long since passed, the locations they took place in can still be visited. Through the preservation efforts of the National Park Service, we have access to many of these places. We can explore these locales and see what those figures of history saw. These are the places I sought to capture in my images.”
James Suits is a photographer based in Syracuse, NY. The inspiration for his images comes from his love of travel. He has extensively traveled the United States, having been to all 50 states and over 150 national park units. He also enjoys hiking and rock climbing.
