Cannon firing programs will last about thirty minutes, with time afterward for visitors to ask the demonstrators questions.
Description
Join Fort Pulaski National Monument for our first cannon firing in over two years! At 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, park staff and volunteers in living history attire will present a special Memorial Day program. This program will feature our two reproduction Civil War cannons, which we will fire. Come learn about cannons, the Civil War, and Memorial Day -- and how all three of these things are connected.
This program may not be suitable for people or animals sensitive to loud noises.
