Description
Participants will use natural materials found in the park (Grass, dirt, leaves, etc) to create their own watercolor pigment. The watercolor pigment will be used to create a background for our paper critters (Dragonfly, butterfly, etc) Participants will use different construction paper, scissors and glue to create a 3-D critter. Participants will merge the background and critter together to make a 3-D image to take home. This class is a hands-on art class in which participants will be exposed to mixed media techniques and watercolor painting. This class is for ages 5 and up. Register for the class the day of at the welcome table at the front of the park.
