Description
Join a park ranger for this year's "History at Sunset" series of programs at Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park.
Much of the Shenandoah Valley’s colorful social, agricultural, and military history is linked to its rugged location and temperate climate. Follow a ranger’s car to explore locations that highlight the Valley’s unique geologic background and the environmental factors that were crucial to the region’s development.
History at Sunset
Explore and learn about the hidden gems of Cedar Creek and Belle Grove National Historical Park. On summer and fall evenings, rangers lead talks or tours in and around the park, sometimes at sites not normally open.
